About CricCompiler
A free cricket prediction and performance-ranking platform.
You call the winner of a match, an administrator verifies the official result, and the system scores your prediction and updates your accuracy, streak, badges and rank.
What it measures
The product exists to answer three questions, and every screen is built around one of them: how good am I, where do I stand, and can I improve. Accuracy answers the first, the leaderboards answer the second, and your prediction history and trends answer the third.
Ranked on skill, not on luck
A single correct prediction is not a hundred per cent record worth ranking. Until you have enough resolved predictions you are ranked provisionally and placed below everyone who has met the bar, whatever your accuracy. Matches that are abandoned or end without a result are voided rather than counted wrong: they sit outside the accuracy calculation and leave a streak intact.
The full ranking rules are generated from the live configuration the scoring engine uses, so they cannot drift out of step with what the system actually does.
No betting, ever
There is no wagering, deposit, withdrawal, cash prize or paid prediction mechanic anywhere in CricCompiler. No part of the database stores a balance and no part of the API moves value between accounts. Predictions are scored for ranking only.
